Key Responsibilities:
General Maintenance Tasks: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including painting resident rooms and other areas.
Plumbing & Electrical: Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and maintenance as needed.
Material Movement: Move materials and equipment between rooms and different areas of the facility as necessary.
Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency maintenance issues as needed.
Supervision: Work under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
Experience: General maintenance knowledge, including experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move at least 50 to 100 lbs.
Work Schedule: Must be available to work one weekend per month.
Team Player: Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Regulatory Compliance: Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
Emergency Response: Willingness to respond to emergency calls as required.
