Job Description
The Grand Alure Banquet Hall is seeking reliable and energetic individuals to join our team as Event Support/Facility Assistants. This role is essential to ensuring our events run smoothly and that guests enjoy a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Team members will assist with event setup, guest support, and facility cleaning before, during, and after events. This is a hands-on position that supports overall event operations and helps maintain the high standards our venue is known for.
Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, and event equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of the venue during events and perform thorough cleaning after events
- Support event operations by assisting staff and guests as needed
- Help manage and monitor parking areas during events
- Ensure all event spaces remain organized, safe, and presentable
- Work closely with the event team to ensure smooth event execution
Schedule
This is a part-time position primarily for weekend events, with occasional weekday corporate events. Hours are dependent on the event schedule and are not guaranteed every week or weekend.
Requirements
- Previous experience in event support, banquet facilities, hospitality, or cleaning services preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 80 pounds
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule with weekend availability required
