Miami Lakes Athletic Club is a 48,000 sq. ft. facility that offers a variety of exercise and workout equipment suitable for any level of athleticism. Miami Lakes Athletic Club is known for offering a variety of youth programs in a family-oriented atmosphere in both indoor and outdoor setting. The programs we offer encourages our kids to learn, grow, play, and have fun as they develop their abilities while participating in a well-organized and supervised group. Here at Miami Lakes Athletic Club, we pride ourselves in having year-round programs which allows participants to stay active and involved. Youth sports offers opportunities to play in leagues throughout the year. Because programs are so large, we register participants one to two months in advance.
The Summer Camp Aide will be responsible for the safe and efficient check in and check out of campers on daily basis. They will also assist with the distribution of camper meals at lunch time, organization and maintenance of all camp records and files, and any other clerical tasks assigned to them.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate, organized camper attendance records.
- Follow and adhere to all safety, health, and disinfecting policies and guidelines.
- Keep accurate attendance logs, check identification upon camper pick up, and follow all policies and procedures.
- Report any issues or problems immediately to the Camp Director
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A
QUALIFICATIONS
- must be able to communicate in both writing and verbally.
- must be able to communicate schedule conflicts with supervisor.
- must be able to remain calm in a stressful atmosphere.
- Must pass CPR/AED/1st Aid certification by an approved provider within 30 days from original date of hire and maintain while employed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma
- 1 year or more of paid experience in a childcare
- Minimum age: 18 years of age at time of employment
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE
- 1 year of experience paid childcare experience
