Laborer I
Position Summary:
The Laborer I is an entry-level position responsible for performing basic labor functions across production and packaging operations, housekeeping (5S) and system cleanouts. The role requires following safety procedures, work instructions, and quality standards while supporting day-to-day tasks in the manufacturing environment.

- Reports to: Warehouse or Production Supervisor
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform production and packaging operations as directed.
- Assist in housekeeping duties, including 5S initiatives and system cleanouts.
- Follow written and verbal safety procedures and work instructions.
- Operate basic equipment and tools in accordance with company guidelines.
- Assist with hazardous waste training and ensure proper handling of materials.
- Learn and apply correct labeling, storage requirements, and inspection methods.
- Support spill response procedures and report any issues promptly.
- Other duties as assigned
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Experience / Skills / Abilities:
- 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions in English.
- Basic communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Familiarity with routine inventory and housekeeping practices.
Job Expectations / Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Occasional bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing required.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing between 5-50 lbs.
