Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and agents safely according to established protocols to ensure effective sanitation without compromising safety.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or cleaning materials.
• Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs or notifying maintenance teams of issues requiring professional attention.
• Follow strict safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures.
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment including floor buffers and industrial cleaning tools.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols with a focus on safe lifting practices and chemical handling safety procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service orientation with clear communication skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors.
