Key Responsibilities
- Drive catering and event revenue through proactive prospecting, solicitation, networking, and relationship building.
- Respond to all incoming leads with urgency, creativity, and a personalized approach to maximize conversion and client satisfaction.
- Develop and present customized proposals, contracts, and event resumes tailored to client needs and hotel offerings.
- Manage the full event lifecycle, including planning, BEO creation, timelines, and on-site execution.
- Deliver seamless guest experiences from inquiry through post-event follow-up.
- Conduct professional site tours showcasing the hotel’s unique venues, including the Arigato Suite, Library, pool deck, and restaurant patio.
- Partner closely with Food & Beverage, Operations, and Sales teams to ensure flawless execution and cross-departmental alignment.
- Participate in BEO meetings, GRC, and internal strategy sessions to support communication, forecasting, and operational excellence.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and account management within Marriott systems (CI/TY, MARSHA, MRDW).
- Ensure timely billing, revenue tracking, and completion of post-event processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain a warm, professional, and service-oriented demeanor at all times.
- Build positive relationships with guests, clients, and team members.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization.
