The Goodman Group is seeking a Full-time National Director of Health Services to join their corporate operations team!
The primary purpose of the National Director of Health Services is to provide enterprise-wide clinical leadership and oversight across skilled nursing, senior living, and health care communities. Reporting to the Vice President of Senior Living and Healthcare, this role establishes consistent standards for quality of care, regulatory compliance, clinical operations, reimbursement, risk management, and resident outcomes. The Director leads and supports Regional Health Services Directors and the Health Information Manager; partners with executive and operational leaders; and uses data, best practices, and regulatory guidance to strengthen clinical performance, reduce risk, and advance operational excellence across all regions.
This position requires full flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time to The Goodman Group's affiliated locations throughout the United States. This would require the ability to fly, drive, rent a car, and the ability to work flexible hours as needed which may exceed 40 hours per week and may include nights/weekends.

Essential Job Functions
Strategic Leadership and Clinical Oversight
- Develops and leads the national Health Services strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Provides direction and oversight to Regional Health Services Directors to ensure consistent execution of clinical and operational priorities.
- Partners with executive, operational, and regional leaders to align clinical strategy, operational priorities and organizational goals.
- Oversees clinical documentation systems and reimbursement processes to support accurate assessments, appropriate care planning, regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial integrity.
- Oversees Health Information Management and the Manager of Health Information to support accurate documentation, records management, regulatory compliance, and operational consistency.
- Collaborates with software system management to maintain regulatory compliance and documentation integrity.
- Serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on clinical, regulatory, quality, and operational matters.
- Monitors industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to guide organizational planning and improvement.
- Oversees quality performance and continuous improvement systems across skilled nursing, senior living, and health care communities.
- Analyzes quality data, survey trends, and clinical outcomes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Leads initiatives to improve quality measures, resident outcomes, clinical programs, and resident satisfaction.
- Provides leadership and subject matter expertise for state-specific quality programs, quality incentive initiatives, and federally driven quality programs, including quality measures, value-based care expectations, survey performance, and publicly reported outcomes.
- Provides oversight for infection prevention standards, outbreak response, surveillance practices, and related clinical protocols to support resident safety and regulatory compliance.
- Provides guidance on care delivery models, clinical standards, and service excellence initiatives.
- Ensures wound care programs are maintained in accordance with recognized standards of practice across skilled nursing and assisted living communities.
- Leads enterprise regulatory compliance, survey readiness, risk management, and corrective action efforts while ensuring consistent interpretation and application of federal, state, and local requirements.
- Reviews significant survey findings, compliance trends, and regulatory risks, and develops appropriate response strategies.
- Provides executive-level support for significant survey activity, regulatory challenges, and corrective action planning.
- Supports emergency preparedness planning from a clinical operations perspective, including response protocols, continuity of care expectations, communication processes, and coordination with operational leaders during emergencies or significant events.
- Oversees clinical employee training to ensure programs meet state and federal requirements.
- Develops, standardizes, and continuously improves clinical programs, policies, systems, and operational resources to support quality, regulatory compliance, and consistent execution across regions
- Evaluates nursing supply products and clinical equipment to ensure resident safety, quality, regulatory appropriateness, standardization, and cost-effective pricing.
- Promotes evidence-based practices and operational best practices throughout the organization.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and professional development to Regional Health Services Directors.
- Supports the recruitment, development, coaching, succession planning and retention of clinical leadership to build organizational and leadership effectiveness.
- Collaborates with Culinary National and Regionals on nutritional requirements to support weight management.
- Establishes, monitors, and reports key clinical, quality, operational, reimbursement, and compliance metrics to drive performance improvement, resident outcomes, and organizational accountability.
- Holds Regional Health Services Directors accountable for quality, compliance, reimbursement, and operational outcomes.
- Monitors clinical documentation, MDS/RAI processes, PDPM, case mix, and reimbursement-related quality indicators to identify trends, ensure accuracy, and support appropriate payment for services provided.
- Uses data to identify risks, prioritize initiatives, and guide performance improvement.
- Quality outcomes and publicly reported measures across skilled nursing, senior living, and health care communities.
- Survey performance, regulatory compliance trends, and timely completion of corrective action plans.
- Clinical documentation accuracy, MDS/RAI timeliness, PDPM integrity, case mix performance, and reimbursement-related quality indicators.
- Infection prevention performance, outbreak response effectiveness, and adherence to surveillance practices and protocols.
- Resident safety outcomes, including adverse event trends, risk management indicators, and quality improvement progress.
- Health Services leadership development, regional execution of clinical priorities, and consistency of implementation across communities.
- Health Information Management performance, including documentation quality, records management consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Provides leadership for assigned specialty programs and organizational clinical priorities.
- Establishes goals, performance expectations, education, tools, and resources to support successful implementation.
- Evaluates program performance and identifies opportunities for growth, standardization, and improvement.
- Collaborates with regional and operational leaders to support adoption and sustainability of specialty initiatives.

- Knowledge/proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive clinical leadership experience in skilled nursing, senior living, post-acute care, or health care operations.
- Registered Nurse and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; advanced degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure required; eligibility for licensure in applicable states preferred.
- Clinically competent in nursing skills in high acuity resident care and critical thinking.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-site clinical operations, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, survey readiness, infection prevention, emergency preparedness, and performance management initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, quality reporting requirements, clinical documentation standards, MDS/RAI, PDPM, case mix, reimbursement-related quality programs, and state-specific quality initiatives governing skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and related health care services.
- Proven ability to lead through influence, develop clinical leaders, analyze data, manage risk, and drive consistent outcomes across geographically dispersed communities.
