Catering Assistant Responsibilities

Receive tenants’ meal orders and submit them to the kitchen

Serve food and beverages during scheduled mealtimes

Transport meals from the main kitchen to campus dining rooms

Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas

Wash and store dishes, utensils, and cooking/serving equipment

Prepare and package home-delivered meals for community clients

Update and maintain menu boards for tenants

Catering Assistant Qualifications

Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing

Previous experience in food preparation and serving preferred

Ability to work as a team member and resolve problem situations constructively

Experience working with seniors preferred
