What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper / Laundry Worker position at The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy?
The Good Samaritan Home of Quincy is looking for a Housekeeper / Laundry worker to join our growing team! The right candidate will have previous housekeeping experience and have excellent communication skills. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness for our residents and certain laundry duties.
Full-Time: 40 hours a week - 7:00AM - 3:30 PM and every other weekend required
Pay Range: $15.25 - $17.25/hr - Bi-weekly pay

Dust furniture and empty trash cans
Clean baseboards, pictures, lights and HVAC Vents
Honor any additional housekeeping request made by the residents during the allotted time
Assist with picking up trash
Assist with activity room set-ups, will require movement of furniture
Report any pertinent information to management directly related to the well-being of the resident
Perform any additional housekeeping tasks as necessary
Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English
Must be able to speak and understand English in order to communicate with supervisors and residents
