This is a full-time, on-site role for a Wine & Beer Lead located in Gainesville, FL. The Wine & Beer Lead will be responsible for providing knowledgeable recommendations to customers, ensuring a superior shopping experience, and fostering a community-centric environment. Key tasks include managing wine and beer inventory, organizing tastings and events, training team members, and building strong relationships with distributors. The role also involves staying updated on wine and beer trends, enhancing the store’s offerings, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
- Strong knowledge or experience in Wine Sales, Wine Education, and understanding customer preferences
- Familiarity with Oenology, Wineries, and Winemaking processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer engagement and team collaboration
- Ability to lead with enthusiasm, organize engaging events, and build lasting community relationships
- Previous retail or hospitality experience, particularly in a wine or beverage setting, is a plus
- Passion for wine, beer, and creating customer-centered experiences
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, as needed
