Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
- Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Assist with hosting duties when necessary, providing exceptional guest relations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy atmosphere.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Ability to understand menu items.
