What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Supervisor position at The Good House?
We are a boutique hospitality property focused on creating calm, welcoming spaces where every detail matters. We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor who takes pride in their work, leads with intention, and understands the impact a well-kept space has on the guest experience.
This is a hands-on role. You will be actively cleaning alongside the team while also guiding daily operations, ensuring all spaces feel clean, cared for, and guest-ready.
We operate across two nearby properties, about five minutes apart. Reliable transportation is required.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations across both properties
- Actively clean guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces alongside the team
- Lead and support the housekeeping team with clear direction and accountability
- Inspect rooms and shared spaces to ensure high standards are met
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures and service expectations
- Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and daily workflow
- Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and housekeeping tools
- Step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
- Address guest requests or concerns with care and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in hospitality
- Willingness and ability to clean rooms daily, not just supervise
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a supervisory role
- Ability to stay organized and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation (required)
- A team-focused mindset and strong communication skills
This role is ideal for someone who leads by example and is comfortable being both a supervisor and an active part of the team.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
