Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and custodial tasks across clubhouse facilities, including floors, restrooms, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment.
- Handle chemical agents safely for sanitation purposes, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
- Maintain the golf course by mowing greens, trimming landscaping, raking bunkers, and performing general groundskeeping to ensure optimal playability and aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and facilities upkeep to support the overall safety and functionality of the property.
- Support golf operations by setting up carts, managing equipment logistics, and providing excellent customer service to members and guests.
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks to prevent injuries while moving furniture, equipment, or landscaping materials.
- Ensure sanitation standards are met through proper cleaning of equipment and public areas, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
Experience
- Prior housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for all cleaning procedures.
- Experience with commercial or industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like upkeep or basic repairs is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle chemical agents safely and follow safety protocols diligently.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking.
- Previous porter or groundskeeping experience will be considered an asset but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning new skills is essential.
