The Golf Club at Cheval is looking for: Servers and Bartenders. This is a tipped employee position that pays $10.98 per hour plus tips.
All Positions Report Directly To: Food and Beverage Director
Servers and bartenders are responsible for providing food and beverage service while consistently displaying a positive attitude and knowledge about the food and beverage menu. Work closely and coordinate with other staff. These positions report directly to the FB Director and General Manager.
DAY-TO-DAY
- Responsible for food and beverage or bar service adhering to our hospitality standards of service.
- Servers: knowledge of the banquet menus being served to the guests. As well as possess clear knowledge of all various liquors, beer and wines available at the Club.
- Bartenders: knowledge of spirts, mixers, garnish and proper glassware. Responsible for beverage control, accurate pouring of product, general cleanliness of bar.
- Greet customers promptly while providing a warm welcome making them feel at home.
- Ensure daily assignments and side work is complete in respective areas.
- Because of the fluctuating demands of the company’s operation, it may be necessary that each Employee perform a multitude of different functions therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
Qualifications:
- Previous Food and Beverage experience preferred.
- Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by State and City.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
- You are comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments.
