Responsibilities:
As a Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of HCM through strategic project leadership and execution:
- Strategic Project Leadership & Execution:
- Drive the end-to-end planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex, global HCM transformation initiatives, including those leveraging cutting-edge applications and AI.
- Provide strategic oversight for project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with firm-wide objectives and maximizing ROI.
- Apply advanced project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) to optimize execution, accelerate value delivery, and enhance employee experience.
- Proactively identify, track, and resolve critical project dependencies, risks, and issues, implementing robust mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
- Orchestrate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance to achieve ambitious project milestones.
- Change & Adoption Management:
- Design and lead comprehensive change management strategies to ensure seamless adoption and sustained impact of new HCM solutions across diverse employee populations.
- Champion effective communication plans, articulating change impacts, benefits, and the evolving capabilities of new tools (e.g., AI chatbot) to all stakeholder groups.
- Continuously monitor adoption rates, gather user feedback, and iterate on change strategies to maximize employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, influential relationships with senior leaders, business partners, and key stakeholders across HCM and the broader firm.
- Communicate project status, strategic insights, and critical decisions with clarity, precision, and transparency, fostering trust and securing executive buy-in.
- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk & Resource Optimization:
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, developing and implementing proactive strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project resilience.
- Strategically allocate and optimize project resources (human, financial, technological) to ensure efficient delivery and maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor resource utilization and performance, making data-driven adjustments to maintain optimal project velocity and achieve desired outcomes.
- Quality & Performance Oversight:
- Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards for all project deliverables, ensuring they meet or exceed client expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights into project health, outcomes, and the quantifiable benefits delivered.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and outcomes, leveraging lessons learned for future initiatives.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Technology, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience leading complex, large-scale project and change management initiatives, preferably within the financial services industry or a similarly regulated, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in the full lifecycle management of AI and automation-driven solutions, encompassing conceptual design, strategic planning, successful implementation, and sustained adoption.
- Proven ability to strategically prioritize and manage a diverse portfolio of concurrent projects, consistently delivering on time, within budget, and exceeding stakeholder expectations.
- Exceptional organizational acumen and advanced time management capabilities, adept at navigating complex interdependencies and driving efficient execution across global teams.
- Proficiency with enterprise-grade project management platforms and collaboration tools.
- Superior executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts, influence diverse stakeholders, and present effectively to senior leadership.
- Highly analytical with advanced strategic problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, capable of identifying root causes, anticipating challenges, and developing innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to thrive both independently and as a collaborative leader within a matrixed organizational structure, fostering teamwork and accountability.
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, user experience, user research, HR, AI, automation, recruiting, and/or customer support.
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
