What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golden Mill Ambassador position at The Golden Mill | Golden, CO?
The Golden Mill Ambassador is the leader and the guide of the guest experience. This role combines Host and Beer Wall Ambassador responsibilities into one hospitality focused position.
You are a guide, a connector, and a problem solver. You welcome guests in, help them navigate our self pour beer wall, answer questions about our vendors and offerings, and ensure every guest feels confident and cared for from the moment they arrive to the time they leave.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and check in guests with warmth, confidence, and positive energy
- Educate guests on how to use the Golden Mill card and self pour beer wall
- Proactively monitor pour wall quality and address issues such as foam or keg changes
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on our food vendors, beverage offerings, and the Golden community
- Handle guest concerns professionally and involve leadership when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and guest ready environment
- Support your teammates during busy shifts and contribute to a strong team culture
Who We’re Looking For
- A naturally hospitable and outgoing personality
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with guests
- A team player who acts with integrity and accountability
- Ability to stay calm and positive in a fast paced environment
- Interest in beer, food, and local community is a plus
- Availability for weekends and peak season shifts
Experience in hospitality is helpful, but culture fit and attitude are most important to us.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to communicate (speak, read, and write) in English
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Must meet minimum age requirement to handle and serve alcohol under Colorado law
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Comfortable using POS systems and guest check in technology
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
