Kennel Assistant
Camp Golden Gals
We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking, and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Kennel Assistant at Camp Golden Gals.
At The Golden Gals, our dogs are family. We specialize in raising and caring for English Cream Golden Retrievers, and we take pride in providing a safe, clean, structured, and loving environment for both our puppies and boarding dogs.
Responsibilities:
ADaily care of dogs and puppies
- Feeding, watering, and monitoring health and behavior
- Cleaning kennels, dog rooms, and outdoor areas
- Assisting with daily turnout schedules and supervised playtime
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Supporting basic grooming (brushing, bathing if needed)
- Assisting with puppy care and socialization
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone who genuinely loves dogs and is comfortable working with multiple dogs at once
- Reliable, responsible, and hardworking
- Ability to follow routines and instructions carefully
- Comfortable with physical work (cleaning, lifting, being on your feet)
- Positive attitude and team player
- Prior animal or kennel experience
About the Environment:
Our dogs enjoy a unique setting on private acreage with plenty of room to run, play, and even swim. We focus heavily on structure, cleanliness, and giving every dog the attention they deserve.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.94 per hour
