Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Charlotte, NC for a Newborn Care Specialist. The Newborn Care Specialist will provide compassionate and expert care for newborns, ensuring the physical and emotional wellbeing of both infants and parents. Key responsibilities include assisting with infant feeding, sleep routines, and newborn care practices, offering guidance to families, and delivering a supportive presence. The position requires flexibility to work overnight shifts and the ability to travel if needed.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build trust and rapport with families
- Knowledge or experience in critical care medicine and newborn care practices
- Customer service skills to address family needs with professionalism and empathy
- Experience in medicine or a related field is highly valued
- Certification as a Newborn Care Specialist or Postpartum Doula
- CPR and First Aid Certification required
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overnight shifts
