Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Present menus and answer questions about dishes, ingredients, and specials
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, including special requests
- Deliver meals and drinks promptly and ensure order accuracy
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to needs throughout service
- Clear tables, remove trays, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Process payments and handle cash/card transactions
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors
- Restock service stations with utensils, napkins, condiments, and supplies
- Prepare simple food or beverage items when needed
Qualifications
- No formal education required; high school diploma preferred
- Previous serving or customer service experience is a plus
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification may be required
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays/plates
- Positive attitude and commitment to great customer service
Work Environment
