Regional Territory Manager

Area 1: Northeast (ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NJ, NY & DE)
Area 2: Northwest (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY & CO)
* Establishing and maintaining new and existing customers through visits and calls
* Identifying customer needs and expectations, providing timely & accurate responses, quotes, and entering customer orders into our business system
* Clearly communicating customer needs and expectations effectively to all internal parties as needed (i.e. Engineering, production, etc.) to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
* Maintaining unwavering integrity, professional attitude and positive energy while dealing with all customers within the assigned territory
* Maintaining product knowledge and sharing information with customers in order to increase sales
* Work with other departments such as Marketing, Engineering, Accounting, Shipping and Warranty as needed
* Demonstrating products and working trade shows as needed
* Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum Three to five years’ sales experience in truck equipment.
2. Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
4. Ability to deal calmly and effectively with customers, promoting a positive company image.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. Basic computer skills (proficiency with MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
7. Ability to travel 60-75% of the time. Must live within territory.
8. Ability to attend and participate in required company meetings and training sessions.
9. Must be a team player that maintains high integrity while meeting company goals.
10. Knowledge of truck equipment industry preferred
11. Technical knowledge preferred (hydraulics, steel, chassis, bridge laws, weight distribution).
Job Type: Full-time, Base salary Commission
