Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum and Instruction:
- STEAM based innovative curriculum, Wonder Of Learning lesson plans are already prepared and very easy to use, and fun
- Foster a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching methods
- Activities are adjustable to the interest and needs of the children
- Classroom Management:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Manage daily routines and transitions smoothly
- Address behavioral issues with positive guidance and support
- Health and Safety:
- Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom and common areas
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being
- Professional Development:
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to share ideas and strategies

- Preferred-Not required- NCECC (Credentials) , or Equivalent
- Current Qualifying Letter/ Ability To Obtain A Qualifying Letter- (North Carolina requires this- candidates who are offered a position receive instructions, this process involves a making an appointment for a criminal background check and receiving a letter which typically takes about a week to ten days but some individual circumstances can vary).
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Experience with classroom management of medium to large groups of toddlers to preschool aged children, depending on the age of children could range from 12 to 24 with a co-teacher, and from 5 to 13 at times by yourself, depending on ages.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
