We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee and strengthen HR operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic HR knowledge and hands-on operational expertise to support our growing team of educators and administrators.
Position Overview
As the HR Manager, you will manage the full employee lifecycle and ensure compliance across all locations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our leadership team, helping foster a culture that values teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting a fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
· Employee Lifecycle Management
· Oversee the complete employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
· Develop and maintain efficient HR processes and documentation in alignment with state and federal labor laws.
· Manage employee file audits, background checks, and licensing compliance across all sites.
· Payroll & Benefits Administration
· Coordinate and process payroll accurately and on time for all schools.
· Administer benefits programs including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
· Ensure compliance with payroll taxes and reporting requirements.
· Compliance & HR Policies
· Ensure adherence to employment laws, workplace safety, and licensing requirements.
· Conduct periodic compliance audits and deliver HR policy training for administrators and leadership teams.
· Maintain updated employee handbooks, policies, and internal SOPs.
· Recruitment & Onboarding
· Lead recruitment efforts across all school locations to attract top talent.
· Oversee job postings, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
· Build a structured onboarding process that promotes engagement and retention.
· Employee Relations & Engagement
· Support and guide school leadership in handling employee relations issues professionally and fairly.
· Develop engagement programs, recognition systems, and communication strategies that promote a positive work culture.
· Serve as a trusted resource for employees, ensuring confidentiality and consistency in approach.
· Training & Development
· Identify professional development needs and manage training programs for staff and leadership.
· Track completion of required training and certifications.
· Data Management & Reporting
· Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS.
· Prepare HR reports, analytics, and dashboards to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
· 3–5 years of proven HR management experience (multi-location or education sector experience preferred).
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certification a plus).
· Solid understanding of Washington State labor laws and HR compliance.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a high level of confidentiality.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Compensation & Benefits
· Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 annually (Depending on Experience)
