- Assist with the operations of the School, specifically focusing on educational programming, relationship building, faculty training & development, and quality assurance
- Develop strong relationships with our families; Greet families as they enter and depart the center; Communicate with families through phone calls and emails
- Communicate with prospective families via phone calls
- Conduct thorough tours for prospective families
- Complete a monthly newsletter to be sent to the parents
- Organize and plan events for our summer calendar
- Schedule and oversee bi-yearly picture days for the school
- Keep all assigned paperwork up-to-date
- Comply with state childcare licensing regulations as well as Goddard QA standards
- Strive for continuous improvement as we aim to be Cognia accredited in 2026
- Ability to work a 9:00am – 6:00pm schedule and perform closing duties
- Project a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Have a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred
- NC Admin I, Admin II or Admin III level credential preferred
- Previous experience in an administrative position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with staff members and parents
- An inspirational leader and team builder
- Proactive about building relationships with new families and maintaining high enrollment
- Strategically resolves challenges and has a great attitude
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
