Director of Education

**Note: All applicants without Early Childhood Education will automatically be disqualified for the position.**

Description of Job Tasks:

~Overall responsibilities for supporting the Director of Operations, the Owner, and assisting with overseeing all aspects of the center, including HR, health, and safety.

~Maintain strong relationships with our families, faculty, and vendors.

~Cultivate and maintain a safe and enjoyable culture while working in a fast-paced environment.

~Ability to perform all essential functions for each position in the center, including, but not limited to, other leadership team positions.

~Understanding Health & Safety guideline

~Maintain accurate child records and enrollment forms in compliance with Florida (DCF) regulations

~Support teachers in implementing the curriculum and provide ongoing classroom guidance and coaching

~Assist with lesson planning to ensure developmentally appropriate practices are followed

~Plan and coordinate creative arts and crafts activities for school events throughout the year

~Ensure all teacher paperwork is complete, organized, and compliant with Florida licensing standards

~Monitor classrooms to uphold curriculum quality and regulatory compliance

~Assist with staff training and onboarding related to curriculum and state requirements.

Qualifications:

Must have experience in a preschool environment

Florida Director's Credentials Per DCF guidelines

Must have 45 DCF hours

CPR Certification (Required)

Child Development Associate Certification

Must be able to complete criminal history background checks and child abuse registry checks.

Must be proficient with technology and have general knowledge of computer software systems.
