School Age Teacher (Part-Time)
The Goddard School is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic School Age Teacher to join our team! If you enjoy working with children and creating engaging experiences for school-age students, we would love to meet you.
Position Details
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
- Additional hours available on MCPS days off, early dismissal days, and school breaks
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children ages 5-12 years.
- Plan and lead engaging recreational, educational, and enrichment activities.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, and academic development.
- Communicate effectively with families and team members.
- Maintain classroom organization and follow all licensing and school policies.
Qualifications
- Experience working with school-age children (ages 5-12).
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must meet all state licensing and background check requirements.
Salary : $18 - $23
