The Goddard School® located in the Park Hill neighborhood of Denver is looking for a motivated self-starter for an Assistant Director’s position at our school. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field, and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool is required. Candidates must have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and have a good understanding of age-appropriate activities for young children.

The Assistant Director responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing preschool operations including human resources, staffing, quality assurance, and facility operations
  • Developing strong relationships with our families and staff
  • Complying with state childcare licensing regulations
  • Projecting a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrating highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Having a genuine love for children and a strong commitment to education

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS Degree in Early Childhood Education or comparable
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills

  • Large Center Director qualification by the state Colorado

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
