The Glow Guild is a modern, independently owned salon in St. Matthews, Louisville, created for beauty professionals who want the freedom of working for themselves without sacrificing a beautiful, professional environment or a sense of community.
We are looking for established or growing independent beauty professionals to join The Glow Guild as booth renters. Our space is designed for professionals who take pride in their craft, value their clients’ experience, and want to build a business that feels entirely their own.
As an independent renter, you will operate your own business within The Glow Guild. You’ll manage your own clientele, schedule, services, pricing, and business operations while working alongside other independent professionals in a welcoming, elevated salon environment.
This is a booth rental opportunity and not an hourly, salaried, or commission-based employee position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide professional beauty services within the scope of your Kentucky license
- Maintain all required professional licenses and certifications
- Manage your own appointment scheduling and client communication
- Establish and manage your own service menu and pricing
- Collect and manage payments from your clients
- Maintain your individual workspace in a clean, sanitary, and professional condition
- Follow Kentucky State Board sanitation, safety, and professional requirements
- Provide a welcoming, professional experience for your clients
- Supply and maintain the professional tools, products, and equipment required for your individual services, except for amenities specifically provided by The Glow Guild
- Respect shared salon spaces, amenities, and fellow independent professionals
- Conduct your business in a way that contributes to a comfortable and professional environment for everyone using the salon
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Current Kentucky professional license applicable to services provided
- Strong technical skills within your area of beauty expertise
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
- Ability to independently manage appointments, clients, and business responsibilities
- Strong sanitation and workplace cleanliness practices
- Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
- Respectful and collaborative attitude in a shared salon environment
- Existing clientele is preferred, but professionals actively building their clientele are welcome to inquire
- Commitment to creating a high-quality guest experience

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
