The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a key leader within ACE’s Human Resources department, partnering closely with the Senior Human Resources Manager to strengthen HR operations, enhance the intern experience, and support organizational growth. This role is ideal for a student passionate about leadership, employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
As ACE continues to expand, the Human Resources Coordinator will play an integral role in ensuring HR processes run efficiently, interns feel supported, and cross-functional collaboration remains strong across the organization. This position offers meaningful leadership experience through mentorship, project management, strategic planning, and operational support.
Responsibilities
As the Human Resources Coordinator with ACE, you will:
- Serve as the primary support to the Senior Human Resources Manager by assisting with daily HR operations, strategic initiatives, and department priorities.
- Lead the Marketing & Operations HR team project, ensuring milestones are met, deliverables are completed on time, and team members remain engaged throughout the semester.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives that strengthen team culture, recognition, and collaboration across ACE.
- Mentor and support Human Resources interns by providing guidance, answering questions, and fostering their professional growth.
- Coordinate onboarding for new interns by facilitating orientation, ensuring system access, distributing onboarding resources, and creating a welcoming experience.
- Assist with tracking project progress, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining accountability across HR initiatives.
- Partner with organizational leadership on strategic HR projects focused on recruitment, onboarding, employee experience, process improvement, and organizational development.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, documentation, and internal resources that enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Serve as a trusted resource for interns by helping resolve questions, providing support, and contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating initiative and independence.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through internships, campus involvement, volunteer organizations, or other professional experiences.
- Passion for human resources, employee engagement, leadership development, and creating positive workplace experiences.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a willingness to take ownership of projects and continuously improve processes.
- Previous experience in human resources, talent acquisition, employee engagement, training and development, or related areas through internships, leadership positions, or coursework.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading teams or projects.
- Interest in nonprofit organizations, civic engagement, higher education, or public policy.
