Assistant School Business Administrator
REQUIRED CRITERIA:
- Possess a School Business Administrator’s Certificate.
- Understanding of the principles and practices of financial accounting and reporting procedures consistent with statute, code and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of accepted business practices, laws and regulations governing school districts related to budget preparation, risk management, purchasing, transportation, food services, school plant operations and facility planning.
- Demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in preparation of Board Secretary Reports.
- Experience with school based budgeting and accounting programs.
- Knowledge of State of New Jersey school district auditing procedures.
- Knowledge of public school administration regarding grants.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Personal Days : up to 4 annually
Family Illness: up to 4 annually
Sick Day: up to 12 annually
Vacation Days: up to 22 annually
