As a Reservations Agent at a Forbes Five-Star property, you are often the first point of contact for our guests and play a critical role in shaping their initial impression. This role requires a highly polished communicator who can seamlessly manage both transient room reservations and food & beverage bookings.

As a Reservations Agent at a Forbes Five-Star property, you are often the first point of contact for our guests and play a critical role in shaping their initial impression. This role requires a highly polished communicator who can seamlessly manage both transient room reservations and food & beverage bookings.
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries for transient room reservations (leisure, consortia, and business travel) & restaurant and special event dining reservations
- Process all reservations requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone or email
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of room types, rates, packages, and availability/restaurant concepts, menus, hours, and special events/general hotel facilities and offerings
- Proactively personalize each reservation by identifying guest preferences and special occasions and recommending enhancements (e.g., suite upgrades, dining experiences, celebrations)
- Accurately input and manage reservations in PMS and F&B systems
- Manage seating charts and availability for all restaurant outlets
- Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Restaurant teams to ensure seamless execution of guest requests
- Maintain detailed and accurate guest profiles and notes
- Identify and flag potential VIPs, repeat guests, and special occasion guests
- Uphold Forbes Five-Star standards on every call and email interaction
- Maximize revenue opportunities through upselling and strategic selling techniques
- Adhere to all service standards, call quality expectations, and response time benchmarks
- Open availability between 9am-8pm and can work Sundays**
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining reservations environment preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional, polished tone
- Excellent phone presence and customer service skills
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-touch service environment
- Experience with hotel PMS (e.g., Opera Cloud) and restaurant reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable, SevenRooms) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Passion for delivering above-and-beyond service to guests
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized recommendations
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
