The Glen is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Staff Coordinator for our clinical team. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining efficient schedules that ensure sufficient coverages to support our high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Location: Hybrid - Primarily remote with regular in-office days.

Your Impact as Staffing Coordinator:
- Ensures sufficient staffing coverage in all facilities in accordance with the census and minimum staffing requirements.
- Utilizes the electronic schedule system to maintain schedules, including approval and documentation of PTO, leaves and transfers.
- Interacts effectively with department supervisors regarding staffing needs, changes in hours or schedules, transfers or terminations.
- Maintains budgeted Hours Per Patient Per Day according to census and acuity as directed by the Clinical Director.
- Communicates needs effectively to staff via the electronic scheduling program as necessary.
- Accepts call-offs and determines if replacements are needed to ensure adequate staffing.
- Completes payroll process bi-weekly:
- Ensures that all hours and time off for each employee is accurately reflected in the HR Payroll
- Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion when discussing sensitive and confidential information.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma with experience or training in office management.
- Degree or some college preferable
- Two years of experience performing staffing related tasks in a health care environment or a combination of education, training and experience that would ensure effective execution of the job duties.
- Must be people-oriented individual, have good communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Computer skills should include Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and database applications.
- General administrative and clerical skills in addition to computer should include phone, typing and filing.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Well organized and self-motivated.
- Has a positive and proactive attitude, accepting challenges and is able to motivate others.
Physical Demands:
- Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking
- Able to work extended hours if necessary
- Hand and finger dexterity to use computers and office equipment
- Meets all physical requirements of position including the ability to push, pull up to 90 pounds, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
