Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using CLOVER POS system, ensuring efficient processing of sales transactions
- Upsell menu items
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage cash handling and processing of payments accurately, including cash transactions and credit card processing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest requests promptly
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns swiftly, and ensuring a memorable dining experience
Qualifications
- Proven food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with breakfast
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales processing
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy weekend shifts
