Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing Montessori curriculum and lesson plans focused on literacy education, math, and practical life skills
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through daily routines
- Engage with children during activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional regulation
- Help prepare classroom materials and learning environments aligned with Montessori principles
- Observe and document individual progress, communicating insights to teachers to tailor instruction accordingly
- Support children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or behavioral challenges, ensuring inclusive participation
- Foster a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to active learning and exploration
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education practices, including Montessori methods and behavior management techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and students
- Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as autism or developmental delays
- Technical proficiency with educational tools, curriculum development software, or classroom management systems is a plus
- Childcare or daycare experience combined with a genuine passion for early childhood development is essential
- Certification or coursework in special education, literacy education, or childhood development is advantageous
