Job Summary
Join the DREAM TEAM! Gingham Giraffe Preschool & Kindergarten is a family-run, not for profit preschool in Chatham, NJ. We have approximate enrollment of 150 students per year are proud of our VERY low employee turnover rate. We are seeking a Fun, Energetic, Empathetic & Dedicated Teachers to join our JUNIOR THREES team. The ideal candidates enjoy working in a team teaching environment (as opposed to head teacher/assistant teacher), excels at teaching through play, and seeks creativity and enjoyment in the classroom.
Duties
- Work with two other professionals to develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy and social skills
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that supports the emotional, social, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children
- Provide individualized attention to students to support their learning and growth
- Assist with diapering and potty training
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure the well-being and progress of each child
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
