Compensation for this role: $21.50 - $24.00
Shift:
Summary:
This role performs inventory control tasks such as physical counts utilizing various computer programs to accurately input transactions; ensures the efficient movement and handling of all production related inventory and equipment and paperwork as directed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Performs transactions related to inventory adjustments and issuing/receiving.
- Makes necessary paperwork copies for Production Control and Quality Control.
- Assists with issuing material/product returns.
- Assists in packing material for shipment.
- Assists planners in resolving issues as requested.
- Operates forklift to retrieve or return inventory to proper locations.
- Performs cycle counts of inventory.
- Works in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules. Reports any unsafe work conditions to Safety Manager, supervisor, or management.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Required:
- High school diploma.
- One (1) year previous inventory control, shipping/receiving experience.
- Forklift certification required.
- Must have English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- The employee frequently is required to walk.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
