What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Planning Paralegal position at The Gigele Law Firm?
For the Professional Who Wants to Grow Alongside a Sophisticated Practice
Some estate planning roles are transactional - this is not one of them.
We are a small but growing law firm led by an experienced attorney with a strong background in tax law, guardianship, estate and trust administration, and advanced estate planning. As our practice evolves, we are attracting increasingly sophisticated work involving complex trust structures, high net worth families, business succession planning, special needs trusts, and multi-generational wealth preservation.
We are looking for an Estate Planning Paralegal who wants to be more than a document processor. This is a key role within the firm — you will work directly with the owner and become a trusted part of our clients’ experience.
Working with business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, real estate investors, and families navigating meaningful financial and personal decisions, you must be able to communicate with confidence, professionalism, warmth, and discretion.
In this role you will:
- Draft and coordinate wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
- Assist with more advanced trust and estate planning matters, including special needs trusts and sophisticated trust structures
- Work closely with the attorney on complex client files and planning strategies
- Communicate directly with clients in a polished, professional, and compassionate manner to ensure an exceptional client experience for individuals and families
- Continue developing your knowledge in advanced estate and trust planning
We Would Love to Meet Someone Who:
- Has experience in estate planning and trust administration
- Is genuinely interested in advanced estate planning and continuing education in this area
- Enjoys working in a small, collaborative environment where your contribution truly matters
- Takes ownership, thinks ahead, and values getting things right
Why This Opportunity Is Different
This is not a high-volume “assembly line” practice.
You will work directly with an experienced attorney who values thoughtful planning, sophisticated strategy, and long-term client relationships. As the practice continues to grow, this role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise, expand your responsibilities, and become an important part of a respected estate planning practice.
If you are looking for a position where your professionalism, judgment, and desire to grow will be genuinely valued, we would like to speak with you.
