Job Purpose

The Inventory Planner, PA will manage local inventory accuracy, raw material tracking, and compliance workflows at our Pennsylvania (PA) facility. Sitting within our Product Team, this role acts as the on-the-ground guardian of inventory health in PA. The Inventory Planner oversees local stock levels—including critical fresh fruit, prebuilds, and imported components—coordinates with third-party partners, and executes the routine cycle counts, year end counts, and audits required to keep our systems highly accurate. Coordination of stock transfers between facilities, maintaining disposal logs, and supporting inventory related functions also falls within the duties of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Local Inventory Tracking: Regularly review and monitor inventory levels specifically at our PA location to identify shortages, excess stock, and upcoming product needs.
  • On-Demand Audits: Perform on-demand physical counts and process immediate stock adjustments in our inventory system to ensure system-to-shelf accuracy.
  • Perishable & Component Forecasting: Track weekly usage of local fresh fruit and prebuilds to support production schedules and ensure we maintain a healthy ordering lead time.
  • Local Fruit Coordination: Compile and communicate detailed fruit requirements for the PA facility (including club quantities, specific fruit selections, and need-by dates) to the procurement team.
  • PA 3P Liaison: Serve as the supply chain primary point of contact for our PA-based third-party fulfillment accounts. Ensure their cycle counts are completed, coordinate receiving schedules, and resolve receiving or shipping discrepancies.
  • Cycle Count Administration: Coordinate and execute end-of-month cycle counts at the PA facility. Disseminate reminders, review counts, and investigate discrepancies to prompt necessary recounts.
  • Year-End Inventory Execution: Lead the PA facility’s physical year-end inventory process, coordinating the scheduling, instruction, physical counting, and final reconciliation of stock.
  • Disposal & Quality Logs: Keep meticulous, up-to-date disposal logs for the PA facility, ensuring every discarded item is logged with the correct quantity, date, and reason for disposal.
  • Transfer Truck Coordination: Oversee transfer truck coordination for PA, as well as managing requested inventory and stock from CA    
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in inventory control, warehouse coordination, or supply chain (experience in e-commerce, gifting, or food/perishable industries is a plus).

Software Skills: Experience utilizing ERP or Inventory Management Systems

Attributes: Strong attention to detail, highly organized, comfortable with physical counting in a warehouse environment, and able to work independently as the primary inventory lead on-site in PA.     

High School Diploma or equivalent, University/college degree in management a plus, at least 2 years of successful management experience

This position works in a warehouse setting. This role routinely moves and organizes inventory stored on industrial shelving. This role also may also be required to transport inventory to the designated inventory stocking area. This role regularly stands and walks on hard flooring for extended amounts of time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or reach; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and balance. The employee must regularly lift and / or move objects up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The role routinely gathers information, reviews processes, and presents recommendations to senior leadership. This role may also be required to assist in leading off shifts. This role is regularly required to walk and stand on hard floors for an extended amount of time.
