Job Title: Analyst II Merchandise Planning

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, have experience working with large data sets, and have a passion for turning data into actionable insights. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, process, and analyze data, providing valuable insights to support business decision-making and strategy.

Primary Duties

• Gather, clean, and manage large data sets from various sources.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform business decisions and enhance current and future commercial plans.
• Create and maintain regular and ad-hoc reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.
• Support the needs of the competitive ad review process
• Coordinate monthly lookback reporting across cross-functional departments
• Publishes weekly performance reporting for various areas of opportunity and growth
• Maintain vendor relationships required to identify synergies, promote mutual growth, maximize resources, ensure consumer focus and capitalize on market opportunities
• Collaborate with the Merchandise Planning Managers, Category Managers & Analysts, Marketing Managers, and Pricing Team to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and work to implement data-driven strategies for efficiency and performance optimization.
• Promotional optimization related to promotional tactics supporting the commercial plan
  
  

Typical Years Experience Required: 3 - 5 years

Minimal Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree

Skills Required

• Proven experience (2-3 years) as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data management and database concepts.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear and concise reports and visualizations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and Time Management.
• Presentation Skills
• This is a hybrid role and will require 3 days in our Carlisle, PA office.
