Full-Time Tractor Trailer Driver (Overnight hours 4x10)

Responsibilities

• Qualified to operate a Class A CDL vehicle in a safe and competent manner while abiding by all FMCSA/DOT regulations
• Drive assigned tractor trailer to scheduled stores to deliver product from the PDC
• Responsible for the load, delivery and security of each load including seals and locks, delivery of mail and bills, obtaining necessary signatures, assisting store personnel in unloading product, securing cargo, and ensuring correct temperature of load
• Picking up assigned backhaul loads from stores and other vendors
• Fueling tractors and trailers and maintaining all equipment in good, clean condition
• Washing equipment as required
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on commercial motor vehicles
• Load the recycled items and pallets in trailer
• Must work holidays, nights, weekends, and must be available for mandatory workdays on normally scheduled off days
• Must possess and maintain a permanent Class A CDL
• Ability to understand and comply with state and local municipal traffic regulations and comply with FMCSA
• Must be able to withstand road shocks and bumps
  
  

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with a Class A CDL
