Loan Officer Position
The Gerber State Bank of Argenta, IL is a locally owned community bank that has an immediate opening for a Loan Officer.
Job Purpose:
· Maintain existing loan portfolio, build on to existing portfolio and develop strong customer relationships
Duties:
· Evaluate loan applications and documentation by confirming creditworthiness of agricultural customers, residential real estate customers, and consumer customers
· Maintain credit files on customers
· Verify loan activities adhere to regulatory requirements
· Other Duties as Assigned
· Saturdays as needed
· Willingness to travel locally as needed
Preferred Job Requirements:
· At least three years of finance or lending experience
· Basic knowledge of the agricultural industry
· Basic knowledge of lending compliance
· Financial Management skills
· Strong communication skills
