Bartender/Mixologist/Server

Tap's restaurant is located at a luxury inn in downtown Lexington,Va. Applicants must be customer oriented,have a pleasant attitude and enjoy working with our inn guests as well as the public. Bartenders are expected to serve food and beverages to their guest. Knowledge of wines and cocktails are required. The ability to work well with others and take instruction from management is necessary. Flexibility in work schedule also recommended. Day and evening shifts available.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Mixologist to provide an excellent guest experience. Must will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Basic Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Anticipate customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Present menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Order, restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/mixologist
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
• Team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
