Overview
The-Geo-Group is seeking a Maintenance Clerk to join our growing team. As the global leader in evidence-based rehabilitation, we provide opportunities for career growth and value innovative ideas. You will help various departments run smoothly by completing daily office clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and take messages
- Maintain moderately complex indexes and files
- Type correspondence, reports, and other materials
- Operate office machines requiring no previous training
- Communicate with a computer through a terminal for information retrieval and data entry
Qualifications
The selected candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be comfortable in a structured work environment, and care about others. The following qualifications are required:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Demonstrated experience in office procedures and related clerical duties
- Ability to interact professionally in individual and group settings
- Ability to work with a team of inmates and implement team strategy approaches
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and carry out moderately complex instructions
- Ability to work with computers and necessary software
Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry up to 20 lbs., walk, stand occasionally
- Bend, stoop, reach above shoulder level frequently
