About the Role
Genesis is seeking a highly driven Senior Sales Enablement Manager to partner with our top-performing sales organization, with a specific focus on software service agreements. This is a senior-level position that requires a blend of analytical expertise and operational precision. You will be responsible for managing software service agreement renewals, preparing complex software service quotations, and forecasting industry trends to ensure service agreement sales run smoothly and consistently.
The First 60 Days
A successful candidate will spend their first two months in the Genesis office in Tyler, integrating closely with the sales team, learning the Genesis software portfolio, and mastering our internal systems and processes. By the end of day 60, you will be expected to:
- Fully manage the software service agreement renewal pipeline independently.
- Audit and update quoting templates and part number databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Establish a reliable cadence for forecasting and analyzing software service agreement trends.
- Apply prior B2B and B2G experience to evaluate the current service agreement structure and recommend thoughtful improvements that support scalability, clarity, and sales effectiveness.
Schedule and Travel
- Modern Work Week: Enjoy a true four-day work week consisting of four eight-hour days from Monday through Thursday. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are yours to recharge.
- Travel: This role requires minimal travel for training and strategic quarterly meetings, typically amounting to two or three days per quarter.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting and collaborating closely with the sales team to drive increases in service contract renewal rates.
- Managing and reviewing service agreement contracts and renewals.
- Preparing detailed service agreement quotations and maintaining quoting templates.
- Analyzing and forecasting trends to provide actionable insights for the sales organization.
- Coordinating part number upkeep and ensuring efficient order processing.
- Effectively communicating with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Five or more years of professional experience in a software or technology environment, with hands-on experience managing B2B and B2G service or maintenance agreements. This is not an entry-level role and requires a proven history of success supporting sales teams, including contract lifecycle management.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, and candidates may be asked to demonstrate practical Excel skills during the interview process. Experience using modern AI and productivity tools to improve analysis, efficiency, or accuracy is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity and experience with Public Safety LMR (Land Mobile Radio) technology is preferred.
- Attributes: You should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple high-priority analytical tasks independently.
