Job Title: Wellness and Vein Center Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistance
Location: The Genesis Company, Jefferson City Missouri
Employment Type: Full-time, 34 hours per week

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The NP/PA will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in wellness treatment, such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT), GLP-1s and varicose vein treatments, along with a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes. We are a team-based pay company that believes in working together to provide excellent patient care in a more natural way.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies as needed.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
- Perform HRT insertions and varicose vein treatments.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Master's in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP) in [specialty, if applicable].
- Current Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)
- Valid state Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant preferred.
- Experience in wellness treatments (HRT, GLP-1s) and varicose vein treatments.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- CPR/BLA certification required.
