Job Summary
Does this position require Patient Care? No
Essential Functions:
- Coordinates and controls all department correspondence.
- Inputs and updates the hospital’s preventative maintenance program and issues all related work orders.
- Responsible for scheduling meetings and inspections for department staff members.
- Orders equipment and stock to adequately supply various shops such as electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Updates and maintains department policy and procedure manuals as required by the JCAHO, state, and local agencies.
- Reports equipment in need of repair, such as elevators, fire alarm systems, etc., to appropriate service companies and follow through with outstanding work orders.

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
