Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout a hospital or healthcare facility by performing routine cleaning, floor care, waste removal, and facility support services.

Essential Functions
Sweeps, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
Dusts and polishes furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment.
Cleans walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and glass surfaces.
Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles in assigned areas.
Cleans and sanitizes restroom facilities and fixtures, including sinks, urinals, toilets, mirrors, walls, and drinking fountains; replenishes restroom supplies as needed.
Collects and removes debris from buildings and surrounding areas.
Operates high- and low-speed floor stripping and buffing machines.
Sets up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities.
Identifies and reports building maintenance needs within assigned buildings and facilities.
