Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of gelato flavors, Milkshakes, coffee drinks, and light food items with precision and care.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations through upselling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, counters, and seating spaces to ensure food safety compliance.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as scooping gelato, assembling beverages, and maintaining ingredient stations.
- Support team members by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth flow during busy hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, café work, or quick-service restaurants is highly preferred but We are willing to train.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and quick calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
