The Project Manager Assistant Will Be Responsible For
This position requires working in a busy production laboratory which processes samples from around the world. Time is spent in the lab and in an office setting. Safety is a priority and negligence is not tolerated. Safety equipment is provided, and use is mandatory.

The Project Manager Assistant Will Be Responsible For
- Responding promptly to external customers via phone or email
- Conferring with laboratory analysts or leadership to obtain additional information needed to resolve customer questions
- Performing data entry to correctly assign samples to laboratory worklists
- Summarizing sample receipt issues and providing sample receipt acknowledgements to clients
- Assisting in preparation of reports and narratives as required
- Reviewing invoices for accuracy vs. quotes and contracts
- Assisting in sub-contracting of samples to other laboratories
- Assuming the role of Project Manager “back-up” during Project Manager absence
- Demonstrating and supporting GEL’s core values

- Bachelor of Science, preferably in Chemistry or Biology
- Or Bachelor of Business Administration/Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Exceptional organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math and science knowledge
- Excellent computer skills, including Office 365 applications including Excel
