NMT - A minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in the operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and assessment of AN/WSC-9 NMT and A/L-7204 TV-DTS SATCOM, all variants and antennas.
CBSP -
ii) AN/WSC-3 UHF LOS Radio
iii) AN/USC-61 DMR SATCOM Radio
iv) OE-82 or OE-570
v) TD-1271 DAMA

Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Support (Electronics Technician Maintenance III)
Responsibilities Are Included But Not Limited To The Following
- Provide support for various assessments/inspections and technical assistance.
- Provide technical assistance, assessments, inspections, troubleshooting, corrective actions, adjustment/repairs, and groom support as requested for Division 280 cognizant shipboard equipment.
- Observe operation of the equipment by ship's force to witness the full range of performance, where possible.
- Appropriate measuring/test equipment shall be used to obtain data for evaluation.
- Evaluate the findings of the cold/hot checks, inspections, and operational checks, and oversee ships force accomplishment of adjustments and repairs to the maximum extent possible during the time available.
- Provide on-the-job training to ships force during any shipboard evolutions.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Navy assessment programs, visit processes and reporting methods for visits proper use of, and accepted techniques for, diagnosing equipment using instrumentation during troubleshooting, assessments, and inspections.
- Demonstrate ability to interpret wiring diagrams and control schematics.
- Utilize computers including the Microsoft Office Suite for compiling information for reports and historical files.
- Communicate effectively orally and in written documentation.

- Minimum experience of two (2) years of hands-on experience in the operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and assessment of AN/USC-69(V)4 CBSP (STiNG)
- UHF
- A minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience in the operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and assessment of:
ii) AN/WSC-3 UHF LOS Radio
