Part-Time Editorial Assistant

Job Summary:

Under the direction of pagination and editing teams, the Editorial Assistant will fulfill multimedia duties for digital publications.

Overnight and weekend shifts.

16 – 20 hours a week.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Find, process, and attach photo galleries, videos and other multimedia to stories.

· Under direction, assemble and produce sports agate pages for print and digital publications.

· Assist with other newsroom tasks as directed.

· Ensure accuracy with all tasks and meet all deadlines.

Minimum Education & Work Experience Requirements:

· High interest in news and knowledge of sports, culture, business and other content.

· Proficiency in digital apps or publishing.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
